Small Condo IKEA Kitchen for College
This is a small condo kitchen that the client bought for her son to finish school at the University of Florida.
To save money, we stayed mostly within the original kitchen design. She decided not to remove the overhead soffits and she assembled the IKEA cabinets herself.
The layout is mostly the same except we moved the dishwasher to the other side of the sink which allowed the addition of a corner cabinet to increase storage.
We decided to take the microwave off the counter and install a microwave hood. In a small kitchen, this made a huge difference in countertop space.
